It’s been a little while – I’ve been busy working with others through music which has been an absolute joy and I’m full of gratitude that I get to do the job I do. But I managed to find some time (and energy) to work on some new music.
Today (12th of May) is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day (an invisible disability I live with), and as this song was inspired by the unkind, cruel questions I’ve dealt with over the years, it felt like the perfect day to release it into the world.
I’m 99.9% sure we’ve all been on the receiving end of questions that are meant to cast doubt or make us feel bad about ourselves, so I hope you can relate to this song and end up singing to this chorus at the top of your voice.
Here is the lyric video for ‘dna’ (written, performed and produced by Josie Newton):
Thank you for continuing to support my music.
